NEW DOUBLE A-SIDE SINGLE - ‘COOLICON’ RELEASED ON CTI – 20th MAY 2013

Carter Tutti (Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti) are set to release a new single, their first one in over twenty years,

on their own CTI label on the 20th of May 2013.

A double A –side release featuring two versions of ‘Coolicon’, the new single is the follow up to 1992's 'Synaesthesia'

and is released on ten inch green vinyl and is also available to download. Vinyl copies will be exclusively available at

their forthcoming Heaven show on the 19th of May and via mail order from State 51 (http://cti.greedbag.com / iTunes).

The title ‘Coolicon’ is the name of the manufacturer of an old metal lampshade Delia Derbyshire used to 'sample' while

at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop in the 1960s. Carter Tutti have their own lampshade and Cosey’s use of it’s distinctive

sound can be heard to great effect on both recordings.

LONDON LIVE DATE – HEAVEN - 19th MAY 2013

The Heaven show will be the eponymous duo’s first London performance since they played their sold out show at the

self styled “Cosey Club” night @ the ICA in Feb 2011 Their set will focus on their post Throbbing Gristle 1980's techno

noir Chris & Cosey material and should include ‘Coolicon’.
